Q: How can I Book on line?
A:
Browse our website, and check the tours we offer. Once you find your
desired trip, please call us to arrange for the booking and sending
you the details, trips guide, and other items to help you prepare
for the trip. Paying will be possible using your bank checks or service to directly pay for
your chosen trip.

Q:
Do I need Visa to go to Ecuador?
A: Most
of the Countries do not need visa to visit Ecuador you can travel
around the country with you passport for a period of 90 days.
Q:
What essential documents do I have to bring with me on the tour?
A:Valid
Passport – must be valid for up to 6 months after you return from
your tour. Keep a separate photocopy.
Tour Voucher / Pre or post hotel accommodation
voucher (if applicable).
Vaccination certificate
Travel insurance. Keep a separate photocopy
Cash and Traveller’s Cheques, Keep numbers and proof
of purchase separate
Flight tickets
Emergency contact numbers for T/C’s, banks,
insurance, family contacts
Q: Can you send me a Brochure?
A:
Of course we can. Also, any extra information you require to know
about the chosen trip.
Q: What does the tour cost include?
A:
Depending on the tour that you would like to go but all trips
include accommodation, entrance fee to selected National Parks and
recreational areas, Transportation, Tour Guides, local communities
fees and depending on the trips sometimes include all meals but all
tours include breakfast.
Q: How do we help to environment and local
communities?
A:
Amphibia Expeditions works in natural Areas where we pay entrance
fees and employ local people to provide them new opportunities of
work. Also we help local communities doing a social work to help
them to develop their economies paying fare prices to every one in
all of our services
Q: Do can I get any
discount?
A:
We are studying several ways to keep offering the cheapest prices
and allow rooms for discount. However, it is not possible for the
time being.
Q: Do I have to pay any extra local payment?
A:
It Depends the Tour that you will book but in general we do not have
local payment more than the extras that you really would like to
pay.
Q: How many people will be in my Trip?
A:
Amphibia Expeditions has the policy that we run the tour with four
people and a maximum of eight people. It is because Amphibia
Expeditions goal is preserve and protect the impact on nature and
local communities.
Q: What kind of people do travel with Amphibia
Expeditions?
A:
We have clients from all over the world. They variety in age some
people have more travel experience than others but all of our
travelers have the same objective with us which is passion for
traveling meet new friends and respect the nature and people.
Q: How far in advance do I have to book?
A:
Amphibia Expeditions eases your booking process. There are two
categories (high season and low season).
High Season: From May 15 to September 15 we recommend
to book 50 days in advanced.
Low Season: From September 16 to May 14 we recommend
to book 35 days in advance.
Amphibia Expeditions advises you to book as soon as possible.
We limit the number of people in every trip, in order to produce the
best service to each client. The sooner you book, the easier you can
follow your vacation plan.
Q: What I have to do after I book my Tour?
A:
After you book you
tour Amphibia Expeditions will send you as soon as possible a
brochure with all details about your tour and also specific
information which are: what to pack, what is include, what is not
include, about visas, how much probably you will spend every days in
extras, about tips etc.
Q: Does the price include the flight ticket?
A:
No! Because Amphibia Expeditions has clients from all over the world.
However, we can help you choosing the best Airlines to fly to Ecuador and get the best price available.
Q: Do I need Travel Insurance?
A:
An Amphibia Expedition policy is that all clients should travel with
their own insurance to cover personal accident, medical, expenses,
cancellation or on extreme cases repatriation. Amphibia Expeditions
recommends visiting you insurance company in your home country to
get an advice about Travel Insurance.
Q: What type of vaccination do I need to travel
through Ecuador?
A:
here are some requirements to travel in Ecuador and. We recommend
visiting your doctor to tell you in detail what you need according
to your medial history.
Yellow fever: Only if you go to the Jungle
Hepatitis A:
It is required. It occurs through direct person to person contact;
through exposure to contaminated water, fruits, and vegetables in
the processing of harvest.
Hepatitis B:
We recommended only if you are exposed to blood or body fluids
(health care workers), have sexual contact with local people.
Nowadays hepatitis B is required for children 11-12 years old.
Malaria:
It is required only in areas where altitudes are lower than 1,500
meters (4,920 ft)
Rabies:
It is required if you are exposure to do outdoor activities in rural
areas such as camping, hiking bicycling etc.
Typhoid: It is required, could be contracted by
drinking eating food by a person who is infected
Tetanus:
It is required to people who are inadequately immunized
Measles, Mumps, Rubeola:
they are required.

Q: Can I charge Digital Camera and electronic devices
during my trip?
A:
Ecuador provides the facilities to charge any electronic devise in
the hotel room. Ecuador works with 110 V but we recommend bringing
your adapters.
Q: What other kind of medicines should be bring with
me to Ecuador?
A:
We suggested to bring in your journey to Ecuador a medical kit,
which is to prevent during the trip minor health problems that they
happen and treat these health symptoms problems as soon is possible.

internet, also a medical kit you can do by yourself for more

Q: Are the tours physically difficult?
A:
It depends on the tour that you select. Normally, the tours are
capable for any person but we recommend if you choose a trip such as
a trekking in the Andes and you have heart problems check with your
doctor before the trip. The treks are not difficult and our tour
guides have experience with walking in the Andes. We know how to
make your trip relaxed and beautiful.
