Every one would have the experience to visit the Amazon rain forest. Ecuador provides this opportunity to explore the deep Amazon rain forest. Moreover, in this trip you will have the chance to see flora such as buttress and stilt roots, it also you will observe the knowledge of local jungle communities to survive in this part of the tropics. The Amazon rain forest offers you the opportunity to see incredible fauna such us monkeys, anacondas, and more than 500 different types of colorful birds. Take a plane from the Jungle to rest one day and to be ready to travel for 5 days and visit the Galapagos Islands, learn the theory of Charles Darwin about the species evolution and take our time to enjoy these beautiful Islands with incredible stops everyday, to take amazing pictures of friendly animals such as Iguanas, sea lions, cormorants etc this trip will be like a dream comes true.

The day by day description highlights the basic activities

Day 1, Sunday: Baltra, Bachas

Day 2, Monday: Genovesa

Day 3, Tuesday: Bartolomé, Sullivan Bay

Day 4, Wednesday:  Santa Cruz (Charles Darwin Station, Highlands)

Day 5, Thursday: Foreana

Day 6, Friday: Española

Day 7, Saturday: Santa Fé, Islas Plazas

Day 8, Sunday: North Seymour, Baltra - Fly to Quito

Day 9: Quito - Lago Agrio - El Puente: Flight (10:30 a.m. – 20 mins.) or bus ride (one day before – 8 hour ride) to Lago Agrio. Drive from Lago Agrio to El Puente. Afternoon: Canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to our camp site. Night: dinner and exciting night walk.

Day 10 Cuyabeno River: Morning: trek into the primary rain forest to learn about medicinal plants, biological flora, and fauna. Afternoon: journey downstream to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature on tubes (water tubing).

Day 11 Cuyabeno River: Morning: paddle by traditional dug-out canoe on the Caiman-Coca (Laguna Del Caiman) to enjoy the natural uniqueness. Afternoon: hike in the primary forest including lessons in the use of plants for survival. Late Afternoon:  relax, swim, and enjoy the sunset on the magnificent Laguna Grande.

Day 12 Cuyabeno River: Morning: walk to the Tarapuy Siona Community. Our naturalist guide will explain the culture and traditions of the native people. Afternoon: Piranha fishing and site seeing. Night: canoe trip in search of caimans (alligators).
 

Day 13 EL Puente – Largo Agrio – Quito: Morning: Early morning bird watching. Journey up Cuyabeno River to El Puente. Drive to Lago Agrio (arrive in Largo Agrio at 16:00). Flight or bus ride back to Quito. Incluide a nigth in Quito.
